Ecofix Scotland provides on-site domestic appliance diagnosis, repair, supply and installation for suitable larger household appliances across Lanarkshire and selected Central Scotland postcodes.
The service covers washing machines, tumble dryers, domestic refrigeration, electric cooking and suitable domestic Natural Gas/LPG cooking appliances. Work is based on inspection, testing and evidence rather than replacing diagnosis with assumption.

Liebherr, V-ZUG or EBAC service? Partner-service work is priced separately from our standard Domestic Appliances rates and may operate over a different service area, including suitable Glasgow and Edinburgh postcodes. Use the relevant brand page or contact Ecofix Scotland with the appliance/system type and postcode for the applicable call-out and labour price.
How the Repair Charge Works
For eligible non-gas appliance repairs, the normal charge includes attendance, inspection/testing, diagnosis and the labour reasonably required to complete the agreed repair for the reported fault. If an ordered part requires a reasonable return visit to complete that repair, the return attendance is included where it can be completed efficiently as part of the same repair arrangement.
Parts are additional and will be estimated before ordering. A genuinely separate fault, materially changed scope, exceptional access/dismantling or additional work requested by the customer may require a separate agreed charge.
More than one appliance? Reduced labour charges are available for eligible additional non-gas appliances dealt with during the same planned visit. Tell us about the additional appliances when arranging your visit so we can confirm the applicable price. Domestic gas work is excluded from this arrangement.
How a Repair Works
- Tell us the appliance type, make/model where known, postcode and reported problem.
- We attend, inspect and test the appliance rather than assuming the cause from the symptom.
- We explain the findings and the recommended next action.
- Where parts or further work are required, we provide an estimate and obtain your agreement before proceeding.
- After the agreed repair, the appliance is checked as appropriate to the work carried out.
3-Month Repair Guarantee
Customer-paid repairs are covered for three months from completion for Ecofix Scotland workmanship and parts supplied and fitted by Ecofix in connection with the specific repair carried out. The guarantee does not cover unrelated or subsequent faults elsewhere in the appliance. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Services We Do Not Advertise
Ecofix Scotland does not advertise dishwasher repairs. Occasional dishwasher work for an existing customer does not create a general public service.
We do not repair vacuum cleaners, pressure washers or other small portable/workshop-type electrical appliances. The Domestic Appliances service is focused on larger household kitchen and laundry equipment.

Technical Competence & Trust
Domestic Appliance work is accepted only where the equipment, fault, technical information, parts support, safe access, current competence and applicable registration/certification support the work. Relevant refrigeration and domestic gas work is undertaken within current F-Gas/Gas Safe scope.

Do you repair dishwashers?
Dishwasher repair is not currently advertised as a general Ecofix service.
Do you repair vacuum cleaners or pressure washers?
No. Ecofix does not operate a small-appliance workshop and does not advertise repairs to small portable electrical appliances.
Do I pay again if you have to return with a part?
For an agreed eligible non-gas repair, a reasonable efficient return attendance to fit an ordered part is included in the normal repair-labour charge. Parts are additional.
Do you supply new appliances?
Yes, suitable appliance supply and installation/connection can be provided by estimate.
