The service is deliberately focused on systems and sites that Ecofix can reliably support within current technical and operational capacity.

Current installation scope includes suitable:

The project assessment should consider:

indoor/outdoor positions;

electrical work;

condensate;

access;

working around the customer’s operations.

Ecofix does not currently market:

VRF/VRV installation;

ducted AC installation;

large chilled-water HVAC systems.

Commercial Fault Diagnosis

Commercial faults should follow the same evidence-based technical process as residential systems.

Standard diagnostic visit: £125 within the core service area

where:

site access is normal;

the standard initial diagnostic scope is appropriate;

the requirement fits the normal attendance model.

Larger sites, multiple simultaneous faults or other complex requirements may require a separately confirmed attendance price.

Additional diagnostic time is £40 per 30 minutes, where authorised.

For systems that fit the standard pricing structure:

Standard Single-Split

Service £120 [One indoor unit + associated outdoor unit].

Each Additional Complete Single-Split System +£80

Same site, same visit.

Multi-Split

Service £120 [First indoor unit + associated outdoor unit].

Each Additional Indoor Unit +£45

Where a commercial site has additional access, reporting or operational requirements, Ecofix may provide a separate commercial maintenance estimate instead of applying standard residential-style service pricing.

Planned Maintenance

Suitable commercial sites may benefit from scheduled planned maintenance.

An estimate can consider:

system quantity;

indoor-unit count;

site access;

usage;

operating environment;

desired visit frequency;

reporting requirements.

Planned maintenance does not automatically provide:

unlimited repairs;

unlimited call-outs;

parts;

emergency response;

24/7 coverage.

Repairs are separately estimated unless expressly included in a later approved agreement.

Working Around the Business

Commercial enquiries should identify where relevant:

opening hours;

restricted access times;

public/customer areas;

parking;

work-at-height requirements;

electrical contractor access;

operational disruption concerns.

Electrical Requirements

Where new electrical circuits or other work outside Ecofix’s current electrical scope are required, an electrician must be involved.

Ecofix may:

coordinate the electrician and include the agreed enabling work within the estimate; or

work with the customer’s appointed electrician.

Condensate & Drainage

Commercial installations require an appropriate condensate arrangement.

Standard work may include routing to:

a suitable existing drain;

another agreed suitable discharge point;

an agreed point at or near ground level where technically appropriate.

New drainage infrastructure, soakaways and significant groundworks are not automatically included.

Ecofix Scotland also provides suitable Commercial Refrigeration services.

If the enquiry relates to:

a cold room;

walk-in chiller;

walk-in freezer;

Payment & Customer Credit

For commercial Air Conditioning work:

required parts/equipment payments are confirmed before ordering;

final balances are due immediately on completion unless payment has already been taken as part of the agreed arrangement;

Ecofix Scotland does not offer customer credit.

Businesses that operate internal 14-day or 30-day account processes must confirm they can operate within Ecofix’s payment requirements before work is accepted.

Third-party finance is not currently offered.

Ecofix Scotland Ltd holds current F-Gas company certification for stationary air-conditioning equipment, covering installation, repair, maintenance/servicing and decommissioning activities.

Ian Patterson holds the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in F Gas and ODS Regulations: Category I and the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Hydrocarbon Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump System Installation, Servicing and Maintenance.

Commercial Air Conditioning work remains subject to:

current competence;

certification;

equipment type;

site conditions;

access;

available operating capacity.
